Peptide having activity of transforming growth factor and production method therefor |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a TGF-Beta (transforming growth factor-beta)-mimicking peptide comprising a specific amino acid sequence and to a composition for preventing or treating TGF-Beta-effective diseases or conditions comprising the same. The peptide of the present invention is derived from human TGF-Beta, and has a function or action which is similar to that of natural human TGF-Beta. The peptide of the present invention is more stable than natural TGF-Beta and can overcome the problems caused by the large molecular weight of natural TGF-Beta. The peptide of the present invention can be used in treating or alleviating various diseases and medical conditions for which TGF-Beta is employed and, in particular, it is highly efficacious for skin whitening and alleviating wrinkles. |
