The present invention provides triazolopyridine compounds having prolyl hydroxylase inhibitory activity and erythropoietin production inducing ability. The present invention relates to a compound represented by the following general formula [I] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a solvate thereof, and a prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor or erythropoietin production inducer containing the compound, Each symbol is as defined in the specification.
