Disclosed is an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic preparation for skin care, which is excellently stable and capable of providing the skin with excellent firmness without addition of a medical agent, a coating agent or the like and without making the skin greasy. Specifically disclosed is an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic preparation for skin care, which contains (a) a paraffin wax and/or a polyethylene wax, (b) a microcrystalline wax, (c) an animal/plant-derived wax which is an ester of a higher fatty acid having 20-32 carbon atoms and an alcohol having 28-34 carbon atoms, and has a melting point of 75-100 DEG C, and (d) an emulsifying agent. The blending ratio (mass ratio) of the component (a) to the component (b) is from 70:30 to 95:5. |
