abstract The invention discloses a palladium-based dual functional film and its preparation method. The palladium-based dual functional film contains a palladium film or palladium alloy film deposited on the surface of porous ceramics and is characterized in that pore channels of the porous ceramics are loaded with a methanation catalyst. The preparation method comprises steps of: loading the methanation catalyst into the pore channels of the porous ceramics by an immersion method and preparing the palladium or palladium alloy film on the surface of the porous ceramics by a chemical plating or chemical plating and electroplating coupling method. According to the palladium-based dual functional film, the methanation catalyst is loaded in the pore channels of the palladium film or palladium alloy film porous carrier so as to realize the coupling of film separation and carbon monoxide catalytic methanation. When the film is used for hydrogen separation and purification, trace carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide leaked from defects of the film can undergo catalytic methanation, thus satisfying special hydrogen requirements. The preparation technology of the palladium-based dual functional film provided by the invention is mature, simple and easy to operate, and can be suitable for industrial application.
