abstract | A method for producing a polyamide resin characterized by comprising thermally polycondensing tetramethylenediamine with an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 7 or more carbon atoms or a salt thereof and then conducting high-degree melt polymerization at a temperature higher than or equal to the melting point thereof until the relative viscosity of a 0.01 g/ml solution in 98% sulfuric acid thereof at 25 DEG C becomes 2.2-5.0 inclusive; and a polyamide resin which is obtained by thermally polycondensing tetramethylenediamine with an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 7 or more carbon atoms or a salt thereof, has a chemical structure comprising an amide group repeating unit derived from the aforesaid compounds, and has a dispersion degree (weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight) measured by gel permeation chromatography of lower than or equal to 2.7. |
