abstract The invention discloses liquid mosquito-repellent incense made of folium artemisiae argyi and a preparation method thereof. The liquid mosquito-repellent incense made of the folium artemisiae argyi is formed by mixing the following components by weight in parts: 100 parts of n-tetracosane, 1-3 parts of concentrated liquid of traditional Chinese medicine compound and 0.03-0.06 parts of piperomyl butoxide. The method for preparing the concentrated liquid of the traditional Chinese medicine compound comprises the following steps: weighting the following traditional Chinese medicine components by weight in parts: 70-80 parts of the folium artemisiae argyi, 20-25 parts of artemisiacapillaris thunb, 3-6 parts of daphne genkwa, 1-3 parts of ferulae, 15-25 parts of ulmus pumila skins, 1-3 parts of santalum album, 4-6 parts of aquilaria agallocha, 1-3 parts of crocus sativus, 2-4 parts of veratrum nigrum and 0.5-1.5 parts of codonopsis pilosula; crushing and uniformly mixing these materials to obtain the traditional Chinese medicine compound; adding water to the traditional Chinese medicine compound; decocting the traditional Chinese medicine compound at 70-90 DEG C for 0.5-2.5 hours; filtering and concentrating the traditional Chinese medicine compound to obtain the concentrated liquid of the traditional Chinese medicine compound. The liquid mosquito-repellent incense made of folium artemisiae argyi provided by the invention has strong expelling and killing actions for mosquitoes and has no adverse effects for human bodies.
