abstract | Disclosed is an objective lens of an endoscope having a zoom function and a focusing function which are independent of each other and enabling magnification observation. The angle of field (2) at the wide-angle end is 100 DEG or larger. The objective lens comprises, in the order from the object side, a positive first group (G1), a negative second group (G2), and a positive third group (G3). The third group (G3) is made up of a positive (3-1)-th group (G31) and a positive (3-2)-th group (G32). At least a group of lenses in the second group (G2) move; and (1) the focal distance of the whole system is varied, and (2) the movement of the position of the image due to the variation of the focal distance is corrected. Either the second or third group (G2, G3) moves towards the image side from the long side of the working distance (WD) to the short side, and (3) the movement of the focal position due to the variation of the working distance is corrected. |
