abstract The invention discloses a halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastics elastomer (TPE) material and a preparation method thereof. The TPE material consists of the following components in part by weight: 18 to 22 parts of polypropylene (PP) resin, 23 to 27 parts of first TPE elastomer, 3 to 7 parts of second TPE elastomer, 8 to 12 parts of polyolefin (POE) elastomer, 13 to 17 parts of solid halogen-free flame retardant, 13 to 17 parts of liquid halogen-free flame retardant, 3 to 5 parts of quartz powder, 3 to 5 parts of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM), 0.6 to 1.0 part of vulcanizing agent, 0.1 to 0.3 part of crosslinking agent, 0.4 to 0.6 part of coupling agent, 0.1 to 0.3 part of antioxidant, 0.1 to 0.2 part of first light stabilizer and 0.1 to 0.2 part of second light stabilizer. The halogen-free flame-retardant TPE material has high resilience of the traditional rubber and thermoplastic processing property of resin, has high adaptability and economy, and can be repeatedly processed and recycled.
