abstract | The invention discloses a method for promoting the quality of tobacco stalks by using liquorice. The method comprises the following steps of: soaking the liquorice into kaoliang spirit to obtain liquorice spirit, soaking the tobacco stalks into the liquorice spirit, airing the soaked stalks at room temperature till the moisture is 20 to 25 percent, storing the tobacco stalks for 1 to 24 hours in a storage cabinet, and performing a next tobacco stalk processing procedure. By the method, glycyrrhetic acid, glycyrrhetinic acid and liquorice flavonoids in the liquorice spirit can enter the internal tissue structure of the stalks; and meanwhile, the color of the cut stalks is deepened by using the relatively deep color of the liquorice spirit, so that the quality of the cut stalks is promoted, and the utilization efficiency of the cut stalks in cigarettes is promoted. Experiments of multiple times prove that the method can make up insufficient fragrance of the cut stalks, reduce the acrimony, improve the aftertaste, reduce thorns, promote the secretion of saliva or body fluid and obviously improve the smoking quality of the cut stalks. The operation method is simple and low in cost, and has good application prospect. |
