Via the drug delivery of water-setting plug |
abstract |
The present invention relates to for blocking or reducing through the lacrimal point of human eye or dacryocanalicular tear stream and by drug delivery to the medical prosthetic of eye, it comprises the synthesis hydrophilic polyalcohol hydrogel of size by the covalent cross-linking of the dehydration of lacrimal point, the absorbed physiological water of this dehydration and be expanded at least 1mm and being submissively arranged in lacrimal ductule on cross-sectional width, this hydrogel comprises and is dispersed in this hydrogel to be released into the therapeutic agent of eye, this hydrogel when allow have during complete hydration in normal saline in vitro in weight or volume at least about 50% water content. |
