abstract The invention discloses a machine and a technology for returning crop straws/stubbles to fields. The machine comprises a straw crushing part and a root-removing returning cropland part. A main transmission mechanism divides and conveys power; one path is conveyed downwards to drive a crushing knife roller (301) of a crushing mechanism so that the crushing knife roller rotates at high speed in parallel to the ground, and the other path is conveyed backwards through multi-grade lateral transmission to drive the two-grade knife roller of a root-removing returning cropland mechanism (5) so that the two-grade knife roller has large low-speed torque movement vertical to the ground. A land flattening mechanism (9) is hung at the rear side of the root-removing returning cropland part. The root-removing returning cropland part is lifted upwards or downwards by a lifting mechanism (8), and the lifting mechanism tracts the land flattening mechanism. The machinery switches the treatment of the complete plant into the treatment of the stalks on the ground, the treatment of leaves and the treatment of the stubbles of the underground part. The invention can process the stalks, the leaves and the roots of the crops for one time, can improve the work efficiency, can return the stubbles to the fields, and can improve the fertility of soil.
