abstract The invention which belongs to the field of aluminum paste pigments discloses a preparation method of an environmentally friendly non-floating aluminum paste pigment. Non-floating aluminum paste pigments prepared with the prior art have a defect that the pigments which contain heavy metal substances and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are harmful to human bodies. The preparation method of the invention comprises the following steps: 1, mixing spherical aluminum powder in a solvent according to a weigh ratio of 1:1, placing them in a bowl mill, grinding to prepare platy grains with the rotating speed of the bowl mill of 37rpm and the temperature in the bowl mill of 50-55DEG C; 2, screening: placing the platy grains in a screener to obtain pigment flakes with different grain sizes; 3, press-filtering: placing the pigment flakes in a press filter, and separating out the solvent to obtain a solid filter cake; and 4, adding a solvent and a cosolvent to the solid filter cake, placing them in a kneader, and kneading to prepare the aluminum paste pigment containing 65 wt% of the solid and 35wt% of the solvent. The environmentally friendly non-floating aluminum paste pigment has the advantages of no harm to the human bodies because of the safe use, wide application because the aluminum paste pigment can be used by cooperating with various base materials, durability and good protection effect of a film of the aluminum paste pigment, simple production technology, and low cost.
