Disclosed is a nucleic acid complex which has low toxicity, is highly safe, and enables a nucleic acid molecule capable of RNA interference or the inhibition of translation (e.g., siRNA) to be retained in a cell. Also disclosed is a nucleic acid-delivering composition which can deliver the nucleic acid complex into a cell with high efficiency. A complex is produced using a nucleic acid molecule capable of RNA interference or the inhibition of translation to be introduced into a cell and cycloamylose. In this manner, a nucleic acid complex which has low toxicity, is highly safe, and enables the nucleic acid molecule to be retained in a cell can be provided. As a nucleic acid-delivering carrier for introducing the nucleic acid complex into a cell, a carrier is used which comprises (A) a diacylphosphatidylcholine, (B) cholesterol and/or a derivative thereof, and (C) an aliphatic primary amine. The carrier enables the further improvement in safety, the effectiveness of intracellular delivery, and the long-lasting ability to retain a nucleic acid molecule capable of RNA interference or the inhibition of translation in a cell. |
