abstract |
Disclosed is a hydrorefining catalyst having both excellent desulfurization activity and excellent denitrification activity. The hydrorefining catalyst is obtained by loading molybdenum, cobalt and nickel on a carrier that contains aluminum, silicon, phosphorus and boron, and subjecting the resulting carrier to a preliminary sulfuration. The hydrorefining catalyst has an average lamination number of molybdenum sulfide of more than 1.0 but 1.9 or less. Also disclosed is a method for easily producing a hydrorefining catalyst which has both excellent desulfurization activity and excellent denitrification activity. |
