abstract The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine for treating breast diseases and a preparation method thereof, and the formula comprises the following traditional Chinese medicine raw materials: 1-5 g of radix bupleuri, 3-6 g of spina gleditsiae, 3-6 g of cowherb seeds, 1-8 g of prunella vulgaris, 2-6 g of red peony roots, 2-6 g of safflower, 0.5-2 g of curcuma rhizome. The preparation method comprises the following steps: crushing radix bupleuri and curcuma rhizome into 80-100 meshes to keep in reserve; adding water with an amount of 8 times of the total weight of spina gleditsiae, red peony roots, prunella vulgaris, safflower, cowherb seeds, decocting the mixture twice for 2 hours for the first time and 0.5 hours for the second time, combining the water decoctions, concentrating the mixture into and extract (with a temperature of 60 DEG C and a specific gravity of 1.20), directly mixing the extract with the crushed herbs of radix bupleuri and curcuma rhizome, drying at a temperature of 60 DEG C, filling the dried medicinal powder in capsules to obtain the finished product drug. Compared with the prior art, the medicine of the invention has the following advantages of low cost, convenient application, quick effect, and radical treatment without recurrence. The medicine of the invention has good curative effect on diseases of breast nodules, breast pain, cyclomastopathy, and mastitis.
