Use of a polyethylene-based film in a photovoltaic module |
abstract |
The invention relates to the use in a photovoltaic module of a film as a backsheet or an encapsulant, the composition of said film containing the following components expressed relative to the total weight thereof, namely: 1 to 99% of a polyethylene having an ethylene weight ratio greater than or equal to 80%, selected from among homopolymers of ethylene and copolymers of ethylene and another alpha-olefin; and 99 to 1 % of a polyolefin B, which is different from A, having a reactive function X selected from among anhydrides of carboxylic acid and epoxides. The film is characterised in that it can be used as both an encapsulant and a backsheet. The invention also relates to a photovoltaic module including the above-mentioned film and to a method for the production of said module. |
