abstract The invention relates to a preparation method of a lithium ion battery electrode material, especially to a preparation method of spinel-type lithium titanate. In the method of the invention, a surfactant, a lithium source, deionized water and acrylic acid are dispersed into absolute ethyl alcohol together, then a titanium source dispersed by the absolute ethyl alcohol is added drop by drop into a lithium source solution. Assisted by the surfactant, the lithium source and titanium source can be dispersed more uniformly. The preparation method of the invention is characterized by high production efficiency, high product purity and environment friendliness, and especially can produce products superior to products prepared by traditional products in terms of electrochemical performance.
