abstract The invention relates to an online hot patching method of a VN (vanadium nitride)-produced electric induction furnace, belonging to the technical field of VN alloys. The technical scheme is as follows: after thermal-protective coating furnace lining materials of the VN-produced electric induction furnace are burnt locally, the furnace does not stop, and the online hot patching of fireproofing materials is carried out on burnt positions directly; the burnt positions are determined prior to the hot patching operation, molten materials of the thermal-protective coating furnace lining materials are eliminated firstly, after the electrical conductivity of the thermal-protective coating furnace lining materials is eliminated, mending materials formed by mixing the fireproofing materials with water are directly filled in the burnt positions; and the mending materials are tamped and then sealed by fire cements, namely, the pit patching is finished. In the method, the patching is carried out outside the furnace, thus being safe and convenient, and the burnt positions can be patched repeatedly, thus greatly improving the furnace age and the production operation rate. The method is used for solving the local burning loss problem of the furnace lining of the furnace in the production operation of the electric induction furnace under the condition of hot work that the whole furnace lining materials are not required to be replaced and a graphite heating element is not damaged, thus the production of the electric induction furnace can be continued and the production cost is reduced greatly.
