abstract The invention provides a preparation method of a carbon fiber paper-reinforced phenolic resin matrix composite material. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: dispersing and pulping the chopped carbon fiber, and obtaining carbon fiber paper by a conventional paper making technology by a wet method; and then alternatively layering the carbon fiber paper and phenolic resin powder and mould-pressing to finally obtain the carbon fiber paper-reinforced phenolic resin composite material. In the method, as the average length of the carbon fiber in the material is related to the pulping time of fiber pulp, the average length of the fiber can be effectively controlled by adjusting the pulping time; and as content of the carbon fiber in the material is related to the proportion of the layering thickness of the carbon fiber paper and resin, the content of the carbon fiber is determined by the thickness and layering number of the carbon fiber paper. The preparation method provided by the invention is of great significance to the improvement of performance of the chopped carbon fiber-reinforced phenolic resin composite material, reduction of preparation cost and expansion of the application field of the carbon fiber-reinforced resin matrix composite material.
