Monomer beads for producing a proton-conducting membrane |
abstract |
The invention relates to monomer beads, attainable according to a method, wherein i. one or more aromatic tetra-amino compounds are mixed in an extruder with one or more aromatic carboxylic acids comprising at least two acid groups per carboxylic acid monomer and melted at 190 DEG C-270 DEG C; ii. the melt drips at 190 DEG C-270 DEG C via a nozzle located at the extruder exit; iii. the fluid droplets are captured, cooled and solidified. The monomer beads are in particular suited for producing a proton-conducting polymer membrane based on polyazoles. |
