abstract The invention provides a food contact phenolic molding compound, which is made from the following raw materials of: by weight, (1) 30-50% of a phenolic resin; (2) 10-40% of a wood powder; (3) 10-30% of a mineral filler; (4) 4-9% of urotropine; (5) 0.5-2% of carbon black. The invention also discloses a preparation method and an application of the food contact phenolic molding compound. The phenolic molding compound provided by the invention can be safely used on the surface of food contact products and reaches the standard of FDA 21CFR 177.2410.
