titleOfInvention | Modified natural rubber and method for producing modified natural rubber, and rubber composition and tire using same |
abstract | A modified natural rubber wherein polar groups are present at the molecular terminals is obtained by hydrolyzing a phospholipid bonded to the molecular terminals of a natural rubber and then condensing a compound containing polar groups that react with hydroxyl groups with the hydroxyl groups contained in the phospholipid-hydrolyzed natural rubber, and the resulting modified natural rubber havingpolar groups at the molecular terminals is used as the rubber component of a rubber composition to obtain a rubber composition having excellent low loss properties and abrasion resistance, wherein the reinforcing effect is further improved by bonding of the carbon black and silica fillers. An enzyme or alkali is used for hydrolysis of the phospholipid, and a condensation agent is used for condensation of the polar group-containing compound. |
