The protein is an a) or b) protein as follows: a) a protein consisting of No. 63-340 amino acid sequence in sequence 1 in the sequence table; b) a protein consisting of amino acid sequence shown in sequence 1 in the sequence table; c) a paddy rice output related protein derived from a) or b) by substituting and / or deleting and / or adding one or a plurality of amino acid residues on an a) or b) limited protein. Expression experiments have proved that a single ear grain number of transgene lines is slightly decreased with no substantial change; a mass of 1000 kernel is increased; and a per plant ear number and a per plant grain weight are increased substantially, so as to raise a per plant output by 15%. Therefore, the protein of the invention and the coding gene thereof have wide application prospects in paddy rice genetics and breeding.
