The invention discloses an indolactam alkaloid and a use of the indolactam alkaloid in preparation of antimalarial drugs. The indolactam alkaloid has a structure represented by a formula (I). With the present invention, the indolactam alkaloid or pharmaceutical salts of the indolactam alkaloid provide killing effects for plasmodium, and can be provided for preparing the antimalarial drugs for treating plasmodium infectious diseases so as to provide a plurality of drug selections for the treatment of the malarial.
