abstract | The invention relates to a liquid crystal aligning agent, a liquid crystal alignment layer, a liquid crystal display device and a polyorganosilioxane compound. The liquid crystal display device has excellent ghost shadow performance, stable pre-tilt angle varying with time, and good printing performance and satisfies required voltage maintenance rate. The liquid crystal aligning agent contains (A) a polyorganosilioxane compound which contains at least one component selected from a polysiloxane having a structure represented by formula (1), a hydrolysate thereof, and condensate of the hydrolysate, and a group capable of forming a covalent bond with a monovalent organic group having a epoxy radical, and at least more than two cinnamic acid derivatives with cinnamic acid structure. |
