abstract The invention discloses a composite frame for a solar cell module, which encloses a cell panel of the solar cell module; the composite frame is at least provided with an external layer part formed by a hard material and an internal layer part, wherein the internal layer part is formed by a soft material, is suitable for contacting the edge of the cell panel and is elastically compressed, the external layer part is integrally combined with the internal layer part; the hard material is a high molecular polymer material with Young modulus of 2000-70000 MPa; the soft material is a high molecular polymer material with Shore hardness A of 40-90 A; therefore, the external layer part provides the mechanical strength needed by the frame while the internal layer material provides the sealing property to the edge of the cell panel. The invention also discloses a manufacturing method of the composite frame and a solar cell module using the composite frame. According to the solar cell module disclosed by the invention, the weight and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
