abstract The invention discloses a method for preparing a 2, 2-disubstituted 1, 2-dihydro quinoline derivative. The method comprises the following steps of: carrying out cyclization reaction on substituted aniline, propargyl alcohol and a catalyst in a solvent in an inert atmosphere, and obtaining the 2, 2-disubstituted 1, 2-dihydro quinoline derivative as shown in a structural general formula I in the specification after the reaction is ended. In the method, a cuprous compound/cupric compound binary system is used as the catalyst. The substituted aniline is aniline with one or multiple substituent groups on benzene rings; and the propargyl alcohol is 1, 1-alkyl substituted propargyl alcohol. The method has the advantages that the cheap, safe and easily available catalyst is adopted, the reaction conditions are simple, convenient and environment-friendly, meanwhile, the catalyst system shows up high efficiency and selectivity; and the method has an important application value.
