abstract |
Disclosed is a composition which has an excellent whitening effect on teeth and can give a luster to teeth. Also disclosed is a method for removing a solid product formed on the surfaces of teeth, which comprises applying an oral composition to teeth, wherein the oral composition contains 0.05 to 18 mass% of phytic acid or a salt thereof, contains no polyvalent cation or contains a polyvalent cation in an amount of less than 0.1-fold mole relative to the content of phytic acid, and wherein a diluted solution of the oral composition in water at a concentration of 30 mass% has a pH value of 5.5 to 6.5. |
