abstract |
A process for efficiently producing a water-dispersible particulate agricultural-chemical composition having improved disintegrability/dispersibility in water, the composition having a particle size in the range of 50-1,000 [mu]m. The process is characterized by comprising the following steps (a) to (e): (a) a step in which an agricultural-chemical active ingredient, a surfactant, and water are kneaded; (b) a step in which the resultant mixture is extruded through a screen having an opening diameter of 600-2,000 [mu]m to form granules; (c) a step in which the granules are dried; (d) a step in which two toothed rolls each having irregularities disposed on the roll surface are arranged parallel and rotated, and the dried granules are passed through the nip between the toothed rolls to thereby crush the granules; and (e) a step in which the crushed granules are sieved. |
