abstract | The invention discloses a method for preparing a structural-color contact lens. The contact lens contains a hydrogel which is formed by curing a structural-color colloid crystal solution polymer with a uniform single color or mixed colors. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing a structural-color colloidal solution; curing the solution in a mould; and hydrating the cured solution till the expansibility of the hydrogel is stable and constant, thereby acquiring the structural-color contact lens. The invention aims to provide a structural-color contact lens and a manufacturing method thereof. The method is low in manufacturing cost and is suitable for mass production. The prepared contact lens is bright in color, beautiful and elegant in appearance, and high in biocompatibility. |
