titleOfInvention Method for using brine generated after seawater desalination as circulating cooling water for cooling tower of power plant
abstract The invention relates to a method for using brine generated after seawater desalination as circulating cooling water for a cooling tower of a power plant. After the brine generated after seawater or conventional seawater desalination is subjected to hardness removal pretreatment, while the freshwater is generated after desalinating the seawater by adopting various desalination technologies, the brine generated after desalination enters into an open circulating cooling system of the power plant to replace the seawater to serve as the circulating cooling water. The circulating concentration ratio of the brine is 1.5-2. After circulating cooling, the brine with a higher concentration generated after desalination is continuously supplemented to the system and the cooled brine with a high concentration is discharged and used for comprehensive utilization. The method has the following advantages: by using the brine with a higher concentration generated after desalination to replace the seawater to serve as the cooling medium, not only is the problem of repeatedly getting water for desalination and cooling of the medium seawater solved, but also the problem of discharge of the brine generated after desalination and the seawater after cooling circulation is simultaneously solved, so the invention is a typical low-carbon environment-friendly project.
