titleOfInvention | Indole derivatives useful for imaging neuroinflammation |
abstract | The present invention relates to in vivo imaging in particular of peripheral benzodiazepines In vivo imaging of the receptor (PBR). Provides a tetracyclic indole in vivo imaging agent that binds to PBR with high affinity, and is well absorbed into the brain after administration, and preferably binds to tissues expressing higher levels of PBR. The present invention also provides precursor compounds that can be used to synthesize the in vivo imaging agent of the present invention, as well as a method for synthesizing the in vivo imaging agent, including using the precursor compound, and a kit for carrying out the method. Cassettes for automated synthesis of in vivo imaging agents are also available. Furthermore, the invention provides radiopharmaceutical compositions comprising the in vivo imaging agents of the invention, as well as methods of using said in vivo imaging agents. |
