abstract The invention discloses an environment-friendly method for synthesizing mesoporous aluminum oxide with ordered pore channels. In the method, a highly volatile and toxic template agent which is used in the conventional method for synthesizing mesoporous aluminum oxide is replaced by ionic liquid, a simple, non-toxic and environment-friendly method for synthesizing a mesoporous material is explored; and the method has good research value technically, and wide application prospect in the industrial production. The aluminum oxides with different appearances can be prepared by selecting different kinds of ionic liquids as the templates or adjusting various parameters of the preparation templates to meet different requirements, so that the effective control over the nano structure can be realized to certain degree. In the method, the dicationic imidazolium ionic liquid is used as the template agent, and the mesoporous aluminum oxide with the aperture of between 2 and 50 nm can be assembled by a sol-gel method under the interface guide action of the inorganic substance and the organic substance, and has the characteristics of wide aperture distribution, regular and ordered pore channel and high heat stability.
