Process for producing microbeads and microbeads |
abstract |
A process for producing microbeads is provided which is capable of supplying a bead set including many kinds of microbeads, the population of each kind of microbeads being clear. The process for producing microbeads includes: a step (S1) in which a hydrophilic layer comprising a hydrophilic organic material is formed on a substrate; a step (S2) in which a thin film capable of being released as microbeads is superposed on the hydrophilic layer; a shaping step (S3) in which the thin film formed is shaped into a given form by photolithography; an immobilization step (S6) in which a given substance is immobilized to the shaped thin film; and a release step (S7) in which the shaped thin film having the substance immobilized thereto is released from the substrate together with at least part of the hydrophilic layer to obtain the microbeads. |
