abstract The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the production of a mixture of constituents, especially a mixture with premixing dead volumes. By correcting the matrices for calculating the mixing constituents used in the calculation of formulations, by introducing limits, order relationship and equality constraints, the drift observed in certain particular cases is avoided by implementing the method and improvements are made, on the one hand, to the diagnostic aid and the control of the estimate of the properties so as to limit the deviations from the actual quality of the constituents of the mixture and, on the other hand, to the speed of manufacture of the mixture and the robustness of the method. The method and the device according to the invention allow multi-variable feedback control by a dynamic observer allowing an estimate to be made in real time of the constituent properties of the mixture, said estimate being sufficient to guarantee the effectiveness of the feedback loop.
