abstract | The invention discloses a method for processing and utilizing methane in a refuse landfill. The method comprises the following steps of: collecting methane in the refuse landfill, then carrying out shallow purification treatment to remove dust and hydrogen sulfide and further remove hydrogen, oxygen and water, then pressurizing to produce compressed methane, and conveying the compressed methane to an area in which user terminals are located by high-pressure tube bank vehicles. By adopting the technology disclosed by the invention, the methane recovered every year can reach 4,320,000 m<3> by calculating in terms that the methane amount is 500m<3>/h. From the view of energy-saving benefits, recovered heat values are equivalent to that obtained by saving 4,018 tons of standard coal; and from the view of environmental benefits, 6,000 tons of CO2 can be reduced in emission, the purpose of reducing emission of greenhouse gases is achieved, and considerable economic benefits and great environmental-protection significance are achieved. |
