Provided is a photoelectric element that is provided with an electron transport layer having an excellent electron transport property and a sufficiently large interface and that has excellent conversion efficiency. The photoelectric element is formed with an electron transport layer and a hole transport layer sandwiched between a pair of electrodes. The electron transport layer is provided with an organic compound having an oxidoreduction part capable of repeated oxidoreduction, and the organic compound is formed as a gel layer containing an electrolyte solution that stabilizes the reduced state of the oxidoreduction part. |
