abstract The invention discloses a rope coring system special for soft rock stratum drilling and a using method thereof. The rope coring system comprises a rope, an underground driving system, a metal hollow drill stem, a sampling tube, a well head motor, a winch, a groove metal plate and a sampling tube locking spring leaf, wherein the rope, the underground driving system and the sampling tube are arranged in the metal hollow drill stem in turn; the rope is connected with the well head motor and the winch; the top of the sampling tube is provided with the groove metal plate; and the sampling tube locking spring leaf is arranged inside the bottommost section of the metal hollow drill stem. The system is matched with a threaded engineering drill and a drill special for sediments for use, so that the coring of soil and the sediments can be finished without hoisting the drill. The system is suitable for drilling coring of various soft rock stratums, such as the sediments, the soil, frozen soil and ice, particularly the drilling coring of the sediments.
