abstract | The invention discloses europium and manganese co-doped and activated white emitting phosphor and a preparation method thereof, which belong to the technical field of rare-earth luminescent materials. The europium and manganese co-doped and activated white emitting phosphor is characterized in that: a general chemical formula of the europium and manganese co-doped and activated white emitting phosphor is Ba1-x-ySrx-zAl2Si2O8:yEu2+,zMn2+, wherein x is between 0 and 0.5; y is between 0.01 and 0.1; and z is between 0.01 and 0.1. The preparation method for the europium and manganese co-doped and activated white emitting phosphor comprises the steps of weighing reagents, namely BaCO3 (A. R.) (A. R. represents analytical pure), SrO (A. R.), Al(NO3)3.9H2O (99.99 percent), SiO2 (A. R.), MnCO3 (A. R.), and Eu2O3 (the purity is 99.99 percent) according to the general chemical formula, grinding, mixing uniformly, sintering at high temperature, crushing, grinding, sieving, washing and baking to obtain the phosphor. The phosphor can be used for preparing high color rendering index white LEDs in combination with ultraviolet or near ultraviolet LED wafers, and has wide application prospect. |
