Provided is a process for producing a thermoplastic resin composition, characterized by, in the production of the following thermoplastic resin composition (I) or (II), performing melt-kneading while performing elongation flow treatment: (I) a thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) a thermoplastic resin and (B) a resin having a reactive functional group; and (II) a thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) a thermoplastic resin, (C) a thermoplastic resin other than the thermoplastic resin (A) and (D) a compound having a reactive functional group. Preferably, the process for producing a thermoplastic resin composition is characterized by, in the production of the thermoplastic resin composition, performing melt-kneading with an extruder, wherein a flow effect pressure drop in an anteroposterior area of a zone where melt-kneading is performed while performing elongation flow treatment (elongation flow zone) is from 10 to 1000 kg/cm2. |
