abstract The invention discloses a bean-rice food and a production method thereof, which aims to solve the problem that the commonly-used drinks in the existing market are unbalanced in nutrient and single in taste. The bean-rice food comprises the following compositions in percentage by weight: 40 to 55 percent of peas, 15 to 20 percent of glutinous rice, 15 to 20 percent of black sesame seeds and 15 to 20 percent of corianders; and the method for producing the bean-rice food comprises the following steps: breaking the pea into 1/2 to 1/4 grains; drying the glutinous rice subject to cooking; removing impurities in the black sesame seeds, washing and then stir-frying the black sesame seeds until the black sesame seeds are well done; washing the corianders, drying the corianders until the corianders are soft, then cutting the corianders into sections with a length of 1 to 3cm,and adding edible salts into the obtained sections, kneading the sections until the edible salts are completely invaded into the corianders, drying the kneaded corianders; and mixing the peas, the glutinous rice, the black sesame seeds and the corianders in proportion. The bean-rice food provided by the invention is pure in taste, and has the functions of digestion promoting, intestine moistening and blood cooling.
