abstract The invention discloses novel crystal forms of benzilic acid nortropinyl hydrochloride which is the core intermediate of trospium chloride. The novel crystal forms disclosed in the invention comprise a crystal form A, a crystal form B and a crystal form C, wherein the crystal form A has characteristic peaks at the positions of 5.52, 10.88, 17.28, 21.88 and 33.14 of an X-ray powder diffraction spectrum represented by the angle of 2 theta; the crystal form B has the characteristic peaks at the positions of 6.02, 8.74, 12.34, 15.38, 16.62, 17.54, 18.80, 19.36, 20.66, 21.78, 22.48, 22.92 and 24.90 of the X-ray powder diffraction spectrum represented by the angle of 2 theta; and the crystal form C has the characteristic peaks at the positions of 5.42, 11.32, 16.80, 17.16, 18.50, 19.92, 21.88 and 24.22 of the X-ray powder diffraction spectrum represented by the angle of 2 theta. The melting point of the crystal form A is 234.0-235.0 DEG C, the melting point of the crystal form B is 224.0-227.0 DEG C and the melting point of the crystal form C is 222.0-223.0 DEG C. The invention also discloses applications of the crystal forms A, B and C of the benzilic acid nortropinyl hydrochloride in preparing trospium chloride drugs for curing uroclepsia drugs.
