abstract The invention provides a method for preparing peptone by the bi-enzymatic hydrolysis of dry insect powder, which is applied to the production of the peptone used in fermentation, biopharmaceutical industry and the like. In the method provided by the invention, enzymolysis is performed under the conditions of the temperature of 10 to 85 DEG C, the time of 2 to 10 hours, the enzyme-substrate ratio of 100 to 1,000 mu/g and the pH of 1.0 to 11.0. The method of the invention comprises the following steps of: degreasing the dry insect powder, performing single-factor experiments according to different substrate concentrations, different enzyme-substrate ratios and different enzymes, selecting two enzymes to perform an orthogonal experiment on the basis of single-factor experimental results, and optimizing enzymolysis process conditions to obtain the high-quality insect peptone. The method provided by the invention is simple in process and equipment and simple and convenient to operate, and ensures high yield of product, high quality of product and low production cost.
