abstract | The invention relates to a TFT-LCD array baseplate and a manufacturing method thereof. The array baseplate comprises a grid line and a data line, wherein the grid line and the data line are formed on the baseplate, a pixel electrode and a thin film transistor are formed in a pixel area limited by the grid line and the data line, the grid electrode of the thin film transistor is arranged on the same layer with the pixel electrode and made of a transparent conductive thin film, and the thickness of the transparent conductive thin film is 3000-6000 angstroms. The grid electrode is made of a transparent conductive thin-film material, and because the transparent conductive thin film is quite thin, the difference of the slope gradient angles at both sides of the grid electrode has a small influence on the overlapping area between a drain electrode and the grid electrode, the difference of thin film transistor parasitic capacitances at different positions is reduced, the difference of the leaping voltages delta Vp of each thin film transistor on the TFT-LCD array baseplate is effectively reduced, the flicker phenomenon of a displayed picture caused by the difference of the leaping voltages is weakened and the display quality of a TFT-LCD is improved. |
