abstract The invention relates to a mixed fuel for a compression ignition engine and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps of: putting diesel and methanol into a container, then injecting dimethyl ether into the container, keeping the pressure in the container at 0.3-0.6MPa, and then inverting the container two or three times to prepare a dimethyl ether-methanol-diesel mixed fuel. The invention solves the problems of difficult mutual solubility of the methanol and the diesel and complicated additive components and high cost, and has the advantages of stable operation and better effect through a bench test of the engine.
