Specifically disclosed is a polymer which can adsorb at least one acidic water-soluble target substance selectively, and which is characterized by having a cross-linked structure produced by a two-step reaction comprising carrying out the Michael addition reaction of a polymer having an amino group and/or an imino group and an unsaturated carbonyl crosslinking agent and carrying out the radical polymerization of the resulting product.
