abstract The invention discloses a method for concentrating 5-hydroxytrophan. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: performing coarse filtration and ultrafiltration on 5-hydroxytrophan solution; heating at a constant temperature; putting the heated solution into a vacuum membrane distillation system for high concentration; and allowing steam to pass through a membrane, and condensing to obtain distilled water. The method has the advantages of realizing the high concentration of the 5-hydroxytrophan by taking a steam pressure difference as mass transfer driving force through vacuum membrane distillation along with small loss of active ingredients, high cycle of concentration, energy saving and the like due to the operation under normal pressure and at approximately normal temperature.
