titleOfInvention Flat-panel display based on adjustable optical filters
abstract The invention relates to a flat-panel display based on adjustable optical filters, which belongs to the field of flat-panel display. The flat-panel display comprises a backlight module, a variable optical modulator, a display optimizer and a protective shell, wherein the variable optical modulator comprises a reflecting/transmitting mirror, a transparent substrate and a plurality of adjustable filters; each adjustable filter comprises three filter subunits; and each filter subunit comprises an upper reflecting mirror, a lower reflecting mirror, an upper electrode, a lower electrode and a voltage sensitive material film. The adjustable filters in the invention can adjust the center wavelength of the pass band and stop band according to the display demands, thereby achieving the goal of modulating the color and light intensity of the backlight. Since the multiplexing is introduced and the structures of the polaroid and color filter in the traditional TFT-LCD structure are replaced, the invention increases the energy utilization ratio, can greatly enhance the integration level of panel devices, and can reduce the thickness and cost of the panel.
