abstract The invention relates to the field of medical immunology and provides an assay method of a high sensitivity C-reactive protein (HS-CRP). In the method, the C-reactive protein concentration assay is carried out directly by adopting finger end whole blood or coagulation resistant venous whole blood as a sample to be assayed and adopting rabbit antihuman C-reactive protein antibody sensitized styrene latex as an antibody through adopting a timing nephelometry. The assay method has simple and convenient operation, high assay speed, wide assay range and high assay sensitivity, thereby realizing diagnosis and prediction in various aspects, such as infectious diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and the like.
