titleOfInvention | Nucleic acids of formula (I): GlXmGn or formula (II): ClXmCn in particular as immunostimulants/adjuvants |
abstract | The present invention relates to a nucleic acid of general formula (I): G 1 X m G n , or (II): C 1 X m C n , which can be modified by lipid. The nucleic acids of the invention are useful as immunostimulants for inducing an innate immune response. The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions (in a first embodiment), each comprising a pharmaceutically active carrier (and, optionally, further auxiliary substances, additives and/or further adjuvants) in combination with a pharmaceutically active agent according to the invention. Immunostimulants. In another embodiment, the nucleic acid according to the invention is combined with at least one pharmaceutically active ingredient, a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier (and, optionally, further auxiliary substances, additives and/or further adjuvants). Therefore, the present invention relates to a vaccine corresponding to the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention (second embodiment), wherein the pharmaceutically active ingredient induces a specific immune response (for example, an antigen). The invention likewise relates to the use of the nucleic acid according to the invention or the pharmaceutical composition according to the invention for the treatment of infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, allergies or cancer diseases. |
